About QuickLift
The QuickLift is a revolutionary facelift procedure that was actually introduced to Milwaukee by Dr. Krausen in 2004.
The QuickLift is the aesthetically improved generation of facelifts that creates a natural, refreshed, more youthful look with a much shorter recovery time. The difference with the QuickLift is that direction (or "pull") of the QuickLift is upward instead of sideways, reversing what gravity and the passage of time has done to your face over the years.
What it is and how it differs
During a traditional facelift, the skin is pulled back toward the ears -- resulting in an unnatural look that often has visible scars in front of the ears. In contrast, the direction of the QuickLift is upward -- against the aging effects of gravity. The result is more natural fullness in the cheek area, a more clearly-defined jawline, and a refreshing lift to the outer part of the eyebrow. Wrinkles tend to be greatly diminished as loose skin is removed.
Because it is a less violent surgery, the QuickLift is done with local anesthesia and conscious sedation. Unlike traditional plastic surgery, there are no drains, no general anesthesia, and no overnight stay.
Another important difference with the QuickLift is that alterations made during the QuickLift procedure are actually anchored to the bones of the upper face instead of anchoring only skin-to-skin. The result is a longer-lasting facelift.
Dr. Krausen uses dissolving sutures instead of staples to close the suture line, leaving less scarring. Unlike traditional facelifts, the healed incisions from QuickLift are usually imperceptible with no alteration or change in your hairstyle. Even men with significantly receding hairlines have had no problems with the incision lines since the healing is so predictably good.
Who might be interested in a QuickLift?
QuickLift is appropriate for men and women of any age as long as they are in good health. If you feel your appearance looks older than it should be due to drooping in the outer part of the eyebrow, a loss of fullness in the cheekbones, or if you have a lot of loose hanging skin along the jaw line or jowls, the QuickLift might be right for you.

Expected results
As far as their appearance is concerned, Dr. Krausen's patients regularly report that they look 10-to-20 years younger after having the QuickLift procedure. They say they still look like themselves, only 10 or 20 years ago. Men and women say they are overwhelmingly satisfied with their QuickLift results. Read more testimonials here .
During your initial consultation, Dr. Krausen will use advanced computer imaging to help you see the expected results of the procedures you choose.
Downtime
One of the best advantages of the QuickLift is that it is a less violent surgery compared to the traditional facelift -- with far less discomfort after the procedure. QuickLift patients experience minimal downtime, usually 5-7 days versus the long recovery time of traditional facelift surgery. Some patients report that they are able to resume their regular activities in just three days.
Common Companion Procedures
In conjunction with the QuickLift surgery, some patients choose to add
eyelid surgery, jaw line and/or chin enhancements, or use their own
transferred body fat to improve facial contours.
Follow-up appointments
Seven days after the surgery, you will have a follow-up appointment with Dr. Krausen. At this time, Dr. Krausen will review your progress and personally remove any remaining stitches. Follow-up for two years post-surgery is included.
Tune-ups
The results from the QuickLift last as long, and sometimes longer, than traditional facelifts. Call Dr. Krausen at The Skin Center of Wisconsin and ask about the QuickLift today at 414-964-5438 or
